I wonder what is to blame for this deadly embrace, where one piece of technology says it must be completed BEFORE anything else and another says the same?
In my case, this was Firefox 2.x on Leopard 10.5.1. Google calendar pop-up alert on one tab and a ‘File save’ window open in another. To be precise, I was part-way through saving a file when the other tab popped it’s calendar alert and from that point on I was knackered. Both tabs and their respective dialogues would not back down. So I had to Force Quit - something I’ve become quite used to doing with Leopard, sadly.
Roll on Leopard > 10.5.1…
